If you've ever wanted to rebel against every librarian who's told you to keep it down in the library, Friday's your chance.

The Young Professionals Committee of the Lexington Public Library will be holding their annual Bluegrass & Bourbon fundraiser Friday, April 26th at 5 pm.

The event will fill the library's downtown location with the sounds of bluegrass music provided by the band Driving Rain. Guests can also munch on heavy hors d'oevres and wash it down with beer and this year's featured bourbon, Blanton's.

All proceeds benefit the Lexington Public Library Foundation, and will be used to enhance the library's services. The event is being presented by Community Trust Bank.

For more information, you can visit the library's website here.
