Black ice is being blamed for two bus accidents that happened within a mile of each other on the same Scott County Road Tuesday morning.

The accidents happened on Porter Road near Sadieville.

One incident involved an adult assisted living shuttle bus which rolled off the road and crashed into a creek.

Only the driver was in the vehicle.  They were not hurt, according to investigators.

The other accident involved a Scott County School Bus, which slid off the road around 7:30 am, causing it to come to rest at a slight angle.

The students and driver were not hurt, according to investigators.
