It only lasted seven minutes, but a man driving a motorcycle led police on a chase that spanned two counties and ended in a tasing.

That's according to state police who say 23-year-old William Chad Elmore sped away from troopers trying to stop him in Jessamine County at 12:55 this morning and didn't stop until he crashed in Garrard county after 1:00.

They say he was uncooperative when they tried to arrest him.

He's now facing criminal charges in addition to traffic charges.

Police say Elmore was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

They're still trying to figure out exactly what happened.
