Big Warming Trend Ahead

Big Warming Trend Ahead

Patchy frost is possible for Eastern KY overnight, yet temperatures will be getting warmer for Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs back in the 80s for Wednesday afternoon.
Midnight Update:  As of 11pm, temperatures have been falling into the low/mid 40s for areas south and east of Lexington.  Thanks to clearing skies and lighter winds, our temperatures will continue to fall into the upper 30s to lower 40s across the region.  The best chance for seeing any frost early Tuesday, looks to be in the low lying areas of Eastern Kentucky.  With mostly sunny skies and southerly winds, temperatures will get much warmer for Tuesday afternoon, with highs in the mid 70s.
