The best recruiting class in Kentucky football history got a little stronger today as a former Nebraska Cornhusker running back, Braylon Heard, decided to transfer to Lexington.

Heard was ranked by Rivals as a top 60 overall player in the 2010 high school recruiting class and was tabbed as the fifth best running back.  The 4-star back will sit out this fall but will have two years of eligibility remaining beginning in 2014.

I's a position the Cats are reasonably stacked at already with the likes of Josh Clemons, Raymond Sanders and Jonathan George, not to mention Dyshawn Mobley and Justin Taylor.

But competition breeds success and offensive coordinator Neal Brown is just fine with that.

More in the video about the depth at certain spots and position battles to earn starting roles.
