The Big Brothers/Big Sisters & YMCA Offices located on Georgetown Street in Lexington are back open after officials say a car ran into the building two weeks ago.

According to the organizations a driver at the neighboring laundromat accidentally put the car in 'drive' instead of 'reverse' and slammed into the building taking out a portion of the brick wall and a window.

The two groups had to move their offices to a community center on Third Street while repairs were completed.

Bluegrass Big Brothers/ Big Sisters CEO and President Eric Ward says the repairs cost 16-thousand dollars.
