For the first time ever, blood donors can prove they bleed blue in Rupp Arena for the 5th annual Big Blue Slam.

On Monday, January 28th from noon until 7 p.m., Solid Blue fans are invited to roll up their sleeves and donate blood to the Kentucky Blood Center. The drive pits Solid Blue fans up against the Florida Gator fans.

Blood donors will be able to enter through the player's entrance, receive a Big Blue Slam T-shirt, commemorative pint glass, and a chance to win an entertainment package.

Besides Rupp Arena, donors can give blood during Big Blue Slam Week at four Kentucky Blood Centers. The Beaumont Donor Center on Beaumont Centre Circle in Lexington, Andover Donor Center at 3130 Maple Leaf Drive in the Andover Shoppes in Lexington, Pikeville Donor Center at 472 South Mayo Trail, and Somerset Donor Center at 120 South Highway 27.
