Berea Police Say Parents Admitted To Locking Children In Room

Berea Police said they arrested two parents for locking their children in their bedrooms at night and securing the locks with chains and ropes.

Berea Police said they arrested two parents on Morgan Street who admitted to locking their children in their bedrooms at night and securing the locks with chains and ropes.

Police said Amber Bishop, 25, and Daniel Isaacs, 28, would then not let out their children out of their rooms to use the restroom, so the children would go to the bathroom on themselves.

All for children were under the age of six.

Police say it was one of the six-year-olds who alerted Social Services to what was going on in the home.

Neighbors said it’s a good community and they never suspected something like this was going on in the area. Many neighbors said they didn’t see the children outside except when waiting for the school bus.

The four children are in the care of social services.
