Berea Police Make Two Arrests After Car Theft

The driver, 30-year-old Orville Richardson, tried to run away, but was found in a wooded area nearby and was arrested.
Two people were arrested after Berea Police say they found them in a stolen vehicle.

On April 5th, an officer saw the vehicle in the parking lot of Indian Fort Theater and found out it was stolen from Estill County after checking the registration.

After he identified both people, the officer said the driver took off almost hitting him and made it to the highway before losing control and crashing through a fence on Berea College's property.

Investigators say 30-year-old Orville Richardson, tried to run away, but was found in a wooded area nearby and was arrested, and the passenger, 25-year-old Whitley Bundy, stayed in the vehicle where she was arrested.

Both were charged with receiving stolen property.

Richardson's charges also include fleeing and evading.
