Ten bus batteries were stolen out of the Community Action Council's school buses.
The organization says they went to start the school buses Monday morning and discovered ten batteries had been taken out of the buses. More than 60 children were left without a ride to school. A manager with the organization says people can get $30 to $35 per battery when sold.
The Action Council says it now wants to increase security in the bus lot.
