After falling 10-6 to open up NCAA tournament play this season back on Friday to Kansas...the Bat Cats pulled it together, as they usually do in the regional round, to get two straight wins before making their exit on Sunday night.

Kentucky took care of Kent State after trailing 2-0 with three outs left to get things done...4-2 your final on Saturday.

Then an 8-6 win over Kansas before falling to host Louisville late last night 4-1.

14-16 now UK's record in eight NCAA regionals.

Kentucky has only gone 0-2 once, and, including this most recent regional, has gone 2-2 the last four postseasons...never reaching a super regional.

Here's head coach Gary Henderson's take on the season.
