In Pendleton Circuit Court, Bass Webb made a last-minute guilty plea Wednesday.

According to the judge's assistant, Webb pleaded guilty to murder charges and faces 50 years in the state prison.

Jury selection was scheduled to begin today for his trial, which would have lasted until August 17th, but the plea wrapped things up much faster than expected.

Webb was going on trial for the murder of his ex-girlfriend, Bryia Runiewicz, in 2009.
