Bardstown, the Bourbon Capital of the World, has been named the "Official Trailhead of the Bourbon Trail."

Adam Johnson, Director of the Trail, says the Commonwealth's second-oldest city is the perfect launching point for thousands of visitors because of its southern hospitality, historic surroundings, and landmark distilleries.

Starting May 1st, visitors who finish tours of all seven Kentucky Bourbon Trail distilleries can pick up their T-shirt in Bardstown instead of waiting for mail delivery.
