Arrests Made In Suspected Meth Lab Find In Richmond

State Police said Charles Sparks, 43, of Berea, was arrested on meth manufacturing and other drug charges on Friday. Investigators said a Richmond woman was also arrested after a child was in an apartment where the suspected meth lab was found.
State Police said a search warrant executed at an apartment on Villa Drive in Richmond on Friday led to the arrest of two people on drug and other charges.

Investigators said a child was in the apartment where a suspected meth lab was found.

State Police said Charles Stephen Sparks, 43, of Berea, was arrested and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamines, Trafficking in Marijuana over 8-ounces and Wanton Endangerment in the 2nd Degree.

Investigators said Whitney Elizabeth Berryman, 23, of Richmond, was arrested and charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.

Both Sparks and Berryman were lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.

State Police said the child was taken to Baptist Health Hospital for observation prior to being released to family members.
