Arrests Made In Suspected Burglary Ring In Nicholasville

Nicholasville Police said arrests have been made in a suspected burglary ring that includes eight reported thefts over the last several weeks.
Nicholasville Police said on Monday that they hoped they had broken up a suspected burglary ring.

Police said they arrested Shaylin Floyd and Erick Reynolds after eight reported burglaries over several weeks.

Police also said they arrested Mike Samaan, owner of a store in Wilmore.

Police said their undercover sting revealed Samaan was buying stolen items.

Police said they also charged John Richardson, owner of the 'Pops Pawn Shop' in Nicholasville and Angela Tillman, an employee at the pawn shop.

Police said undercover operatives went to the pawn shop and represented that they had stolen property and that the individuals still purchased the items.

Police said Richardson was charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000 and violating a Precious Metal City Ordinance on June 27, 2012.

Police said Tillman was charged with violating the Precious Metal City Ordinance.  Police said she knowingly failed to get the proper identification of the seller of the property.
