Arrested Bardstown Man Claims Gang Killed Officer Ellis

Brant Sheckles claims the Bardstown Money Gang was responsible for the killing of Officer Jason Ellis in Bardstown after he was arrested over the weekend.
According to the Nelson County Sheriff, Brant Sheckles was arrested at a field party in northern Nelson County last weekend after an alleged assault.

According to the arrest citation, Sheckles threatened a deputy after being arrested. He said, "You saw what happened to one of you when you all crossed us."

The sheriff says Sheckles can be seen in a number of online videos posted by the Bardstown Money Gang.

The threat added a charge of Terroristic Threatening to Sheckles' list of charges.

While Sheckles was already looked at early on in the Ellis murder investigation, Kentucky State Police were told about the threat.
