State Police said an argument over money eventually led to a shooting in Robertson County.

Investigators said Victor Knipper, 45, of Mount Olivet and Keith Case, 38, of Berry, got into an argument over money on Reed Lane on Tuesday.

State Police said Knipper returned to Reed Lane later in the day and was reportedly shot in the thigh by Case.

Investigators said Knipper's wound was not life-threatening.  He was treated at an area hospital.

State Police said Case was charged with Assault 1st Degree and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

The incident is still under investigation.
