The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said they’ve made an arrest in an assault investigation.

The assault dates back to October, when a woman captured the entire incident on camera.

Deputies said that video is what led them to identifying the suspect.

They arrested Harold Gaines, 29, who they said had been on the run since October. They found him in a mobile home about four miles north of London.

Gwen Watts said she spotted a man by her mother’s house, which she said had been broken into several times.

Watts said that she chased the man for about a mile before he got out of the car. She got out of the car too and said that’s when the suspect punched her in the face.

Deputies said she also had cuts and bruises.
