Arrest Made In Knox County Sodomy Case

A sodomy case out of Knox County sent U.S. Marshals all the way to South Korea.

Investigators said Jerry Amundsen,43, also known as Jerry Girlder, was on the run for ten years. Police say Amundsen is charged with sodomy involving a child under the age of 12 in Knox County.

Police said he took off to Alaska in 2003, and eventually left the U.S. Amundsen is now in the Knox County Detention Center awaiting charges.
