State police have been investigating this case since April 27th, when a man found human remains outside of his home in Ewing.
Troopers say Mariano Arias, 27, was arrested just before 4AM in Fleming County Thursday.
They identified him as a migrant worker.
Investigators say he was charged with two counts of murder and taken to Mason County Jail.
Troopers say the bones of two different people were found around the home on Delaney Road.
The coroner's report said they belonged to a hispanic man around five foot five and a hispanic woman around five feet tall.
Greg Myers was the one who found the remains while clearing out a ditch after a rainstorm.
"I cleaned it out..thought maybe it was a volleyball 'cause I seen something round...so I tried to hit it, and no, it ain't a volleyball. Got to digging around and I said, 'You know, I see what this is now'," said Myers on the discovery.
And KSP Trooper Endre Samu added that, though they've made an arrest, the investigation still isn't over.
"We don't know if this was one individual or a couple of individuals," he said.
Another big question--how long had the remains been there?
The coroner's report said it could have been anywhere from four months to three years.
