Arrest Made After Alleged Somerset Care Facility Neglect

Coty King was arrested on two counts of neglect after encouraging a disabled patient to hit another disabled patient at a Somerset care facility he worked at.
Coty King of Pine Knot was arrested Monday when he went to work at Oakwood Manor in Somerset, a care facility for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

According to Attorney General Jack Conway, King is accused of asking a developmentally disabled person to hit another disabled person and taking video of the incident on his phone.

When other staff members of Oakwood heard of the alleged incident, they immediately contacted authorities.

King is facing two counts of neglect.

If convicted, he could face up to 5 to 10 years in prison on each charge.
