Arrangements For Kentucky Soldier Killed In Afghanistan

The arrangements are set for PFC Dustin Gross. Dustin's family says he will be returning to Mount Sterling Monday.
Funeral arrangements are set for PFC Dustin Gross, a soldier from Montgomery County.

Gross was killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.

His family says Gross will be returning to Mount Sterling on Monday. If you wish to show your support for Dustin and his family, you can go to the bypass between Winchester Road and U.S. 460 Monday. The procession will travel through this area between 2:10 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.

Please have your vehicles off of the roadway as far as practical. Remember with the weather conditions these times are subject to change. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Montgomery County High School.

The services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the high school. The funeral procession will go through town and out North Maysville to the bypass. It will continue around the bypass to Spencer Pike, and then onto Machpelah Cemetery.

Any group wanting to show support and reverence at roadside will need to register with the MSPD Chief of Police. Individuals will not need to this.
