Angel Tree Application Dates Set In Fayette County

The Salvation Army in Lexington has set application dates for its annual Angel Tree Program to make sure struggling parents and guardians can put gifts under the Christmas Tree.
The Salvation Army in Lexington counts it a privilege to help struggling parents/guardians put gifts under the Christmas Tree.

Applications for The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program (for Fayette County residents) will take place at The Salvation Army, 736 W. Main Street, Lexington, KY, from 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. on October 8, 9, 15, 16, 29, 30 and November 6.

Applicants need to apply in person and should bring the following documentation:  a photo I.D.; a birth certificate or immunization record for each child ages 0-17; proof of monthly income for all household members, proof of rent and utilities.

In order to avoid duplication and do the most good with our donations, applicants applying for Christmas help at another agency will not be eligible for the Angel Tree program.

Volunteers wanting to help with applications should contact Laura Hylbert at (859) 252-7706 or laura.hylbert@use.salvationarmy.org.
