A bill, allowing the Amish to use silver reflective tape on buggies, is a step closer to reality in Kentucky.
On Tuesday, the Kentucky House voted 90 to nine, in favor of the legislation. If it becomes law, the Amish could use the tape instead of the bright orange safety triangles that they oppose on religious grounds.
The bill still needs to be passed in the Kentucky Senate, though the senate has already passed similar legislation.
