ABC 36 News has learned that ambulance hit and killed a pedestrian on Highway 30 in Owsley County.
Kentucky State Police say this happened around 4:15 p.m. Monday.
Police say Billy Smith, 62, of Vincent walked into the path of the ambulance, and was hit. EMS personnel provided first aid, but Smith died.
The accident remains under investigation.
