Amazon Hiring 70,000 Seasonal Workers

Amazon is gearing up for the holidays by hiring thousands of full-time, seasonal workers here in Central Kentucky.

The company says it's also looking to fill some part-time positions at it's warehouses in Lexington and Winchester.

It's part of a huge hiring blitz that includes 70,000 holiday jobs throughout the country.

And Amazon says it's likely that some of the seasonal staff will score permanent gigs.

Seasonal employees at its fulfillment centers are eligible for health care benefits.
