Police accuse Travis Bredhold of shooting 51-year-old Mike Patel during a gas station robbery.

Patel died shortly after at a hospital.

Pictures on Bredhold’s Facebook page show a variety of guns and ammunition. In some cases, those guns are sitting on stacks of cash.

Bredhold made his first court appearance by closed circuit TV from jail Wednesday afternoon.

He pleaded not guilty to robbery and murder charges.

The memorial to Mike Patel, who was gunned down while working at the gas station, continues to grow.

What started as a tribute to Patel from his colleagues now includes flowers, stuffed animals, and personal notes from others.

Just a day after Bredhold allegedly shot and killed Mike Patel, he was found at Fayette Mall.

Court documents show Bredhold was carrying a .380 caliber handgun in an inside coat pocket.

The documents also say he had marijuana and more than $500 in cash.

Bredhold is due back in court Tuesday, December 17.

That's when a judge is expected to rule whether this case should be heard by a grand jury.
