The basketball Cats may have won by 29 on Tuesday night, but Coach Cal was anything but pleased in the postgame press conference.

And it's not because of the scoreboard or box score.

I's all about effort for Cal.  Effort he says wasn't there consistently once again, as the team allowed UT-Arlington to go on runs of 12-2 and 8-2 in the first half to cut the Wildcat lead to 9 at the break.

It's not about missed shots.  It's not about someone making a play.  It's about effort and energy.  And Cal needs to see it next time out on Monday against Cleveland State.

Hear from Cal in the video.
