A Fayette County Grand Jury will decide whether to indict a UK student who’s accused of killing his adopted house cats.

Investigators said Li Xu killed the animals with the broken end of a broomstick.

Xu is currently out on bond, but a Fayette District Judge ordered him to have no contact with animals between now and his next court date.

Investigators said when they arrested Xu last month, he admitted he killed the cats in anger because they had urinated on his carpet.
