A low pressure system in the Deep South will begin to pump Gulf Moisture into Kentucky.
Rain will begin overnight Saturday into dawn Sunday in Southern Kentucky.
As temperatures fall to near freezing, rain will begin to change to snow in southern KY and begin as snow further north.
The hardest-hit areas will be south and east of Lexington, where several inches of snow will be likely by Sunday evening.
Lexington will likely be a split forecast, with higher totals to the south.
For more information on forecasted snow totals, check out the blog.
The storm will exit to the east on Sunday evening, and Presidents' Day will be mostly sunny and slightly colder than average.
The next storm system will arrive on Tuesday evening with rain and milder weather expected for most of next week.

It's kind of ridiculous to have a story titled "Accumulating Snow on Sunday" and then towards the end of the story have this: "For more information on forecasted snow totals, check out the blog." That was kind of why I clicked on this story in the first place, to find out about the accumulating snow on Sunday.
