Firefighters say a driver ran a red light and caused a traffic tie-up on a heavily-traveled Lexington road.  It happened around 8:30 at the intersection of North Broadway and West Sixth Street.       Firefighters say the driver of a silver Pontiac ran the red light on North Broadway, hitting a gold Pontiac and a white truck.  One person in the gold Pontiac was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.  Firefighters say this crash could've been much worse but everyone was wearing their safety belts.
The roads were back open by 9:45.  No charges have been filed.  Police are still investigating.
