Deadly Accident Has Big Traffic Impact On Nicholasville Road

Traffic was down to one lane Friday afternoon on part of Nicholasville Road after a deadly accident.

Police say one person was killed and three others were hurt in the collision near the Jessamine County Line.

Officers say a truck pulling a trailer crossed the center line and hit a truck and an SUV.

Police say the SUV driver was killed and three others went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers expected the road to be closed for several hours.
