Kentucky freshman receiver DeMarcus Sweat has already made a favorable impression on his coaches and teammates.
LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kentucky freshman receiver DeMarcus Sweat has made such an impression over the summer that quarterback Maxwell Smith campaigned to have Sweat as his fall camp roommate.
"I'll tell you how excited Max Smith is," said UK head coach Joker Phillips.
"He came to us and said, 'Coach, I want to room with DeMarcus Sweat.' I've never seen a quarterback say I want to room with this guy. 'This guy's special, coach.'"
