The forecast will be split today between the drier, brighter and warmer conditions in central Kentucky, and the slightly cooler, cloudier and occasionally wetter conditions in far southern Kentucky.  Highs will be near 88° under partly sunny skies in central Kentucky today.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms will linger near a stationary front in southern Kentucky.  Tonight will be partly cloudy with still a brief shower or thunderstorm possible near the Tennessee state line.  Lows will fall to near 64° in the Bluegrass Region, and there may be some very patchy fog in a few spots.  Wednesday will be similar with scattered thunderstorms, mainly in the southern half of the region.  A wave of low pressure will spread the rain showers and thunderstorms farther north, back into central Kentucky for Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and spotty, leftover showers and thunderstorms may still occur on Sunday and Monday as the front wavers nearby.  Highs will be in the 80s with lows in the middle to upper 60s.
