Most of today's rain showers will be confined to eastern Kentucky, but thick clouds and drizzle will linger across the Bluegrass Region. A new wave of low pressure will cross the Southeastern States on Wednesday, producing a soaking rain in southeastern Kentucky which will likely mix with snow before ending in the mountains. Meanwhile, most of central Kentucky will turn drier. Most of Thursday through Monday should be colder than normal, and most of this period will be dry, aside from a sprinkle or flurry on Friday, and a few spotty showers next Monday.
