911 Calls Rerouted During KSP Post 5 Phone Outage

State Police said 911 calls for some Kentucky counties were rerouted Wednesday evening because of a phone outage.

The outage at KSP Post 5 in Campbellsburg affected calls for Henry, Trimble and Owen counties.

Troopers said emergency calls would be rolled over to Shelby County dispatchers.

According to State Police, Shelby County dispatchers would then use cell phones to contact Post 5 with the emergency information.
