Darius Miller, a Maysville native, is the first player in program history to be crowned Mr. Basketball, a win a state title with his high school team and win a National Title with Kentucky.  He had the honor of bringing the trophy into the arena, along with the net from the title game.
Coach John Calipari was the last to be introduced to the crowd and after his enthusiastic entrance he got a warm, loud reception!
And that cheering didn't stop when he took the podium to talk to Solid Blue fans.
"Do you know why we won the National Title?  Folks, we had the best players and we were the best team that's why.we won the National Title," explains Coach Cal.

Miller was the only player to speak to the crowd, the Senior leaves Kentucky as the most experienced Wildcat ever.

"I want to say thank you all for all the support you all showed me in my four years here, it's been a blessing," says Miller.

Cameras flashed and the arena erupted as the eighth banner came down.
