It all started with a win in the NIT at Memorial Coliseum.  Since that fateful day no one expected under Billy Gillispie, Kentucky has reeled off 49 straight wins at Rupp Arena under John Calipari.

It's been a wild three years and a mgaical run.  One fans think may not end in the near future.  One, I as a reporter, almost expect as well.  I know there's a chance the Cats can lose any time the ball goes in the air, but I'm just numb to the idea it will actually happen while I'm there at Rupp.

And why wouldn't I think that way?  Darius Miller had one tough year and he knows nothing different since Cal's arrival.  Ask Doron Lamb and Terrence Jones what it's like to lose a home game.  They can't answer you.

So how did it start and what does it mean?  Can it lead to a national title?  Or is it just basketball?
