40TH Annual Poor Man's Derby Party Comes To Signature Club

The 40th Annual Poor Man's Derby saw thousands show up including a local sports hero.
It was the 40th annual Poor Man's Derby Party on Friday night in Lexington.
Thousands showed up for the charity event, including some local sports celebrities like former UK Quarterback Tim Couch.
Party host Bill Morgan has been throwing this party every year.
It originally started in his college apartment, but on Friday was held at the Signature Club.
Each year a handful of charities are on hand to take donations.
This year the American Red Cross was there for their tornado relief fund, along with the Central Kentucky Riding for Hope.
The biggest draw was the silent auction for the Foster Care Council, which works to improve the lives of local foster children.
Hundreds of items including autographed UK sports memorabilia were auctioned off.
