Deputies said undercover video helped them bust a puppy mill Tuesday in Pulaski County.

The Sheriff's Office said it asked the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to help with the case.

According to deputies, more than forty dogs were living in filthy conditions at Dream Catcher Kennels in Nancy.

Investigators said many had almost no shelter in freezing temperatures.

The ASPCA released video Tuesday evening that showed the reported rescue.

Investigators said many of the animals had untreated medical problems and have had very little contact with humans.

Deputies said 61-year old Dennis Bradley owns and operates the kennel.

According to investigators, he's expected to plead guilty in court Wednesday to cruelty to animals in the second degree.

The ASPCA said Bradley was charged with the offense earlier this year after deputies received several complaints about the conditions at Dream Catcher Kennels.

The animal welfare group said that Bradley had surrendered the dogs and will face six months in jail probated for a term of 24 months.

According to the non-profit, Bradley will not be allowed to operate a kennel or breeding operation for the duration of his probation.

The dogs were taken to a temporary shelter in Louisville.
