Update: 26,000 Kentuckians Health Insurance

The state says 26,000 more Kentuckians now have health coverage.

It says that's how many people have enrolled in the Kentucky health exchange since it started October 1st.

Numbers from the state show more than 305,000 visits to the website.

It also says 51,000 people having started the application process.

Kentucky's 'kynect' system has made national headlines as a model for efficiency since its October 1st launch.
