Police arrest two suspects they say are responsible for a violent home invasion in Lexington earlier this week.

Arrested were Matthew Neace (24) and Avery Neace (25) in connection with the attempted robbery.

Police say the men forced their way into an apartment on Cambridge Drive Wednesday sending one man to the UK Hospital after striking him with a rifle. The two men ran from the residence without taking anything.

Matthew Neace faces a robbery charge and Avery Neace is charged with complicity to robbery.
