Two brothers were found guilty by a Lincoln County jury Thursday for engaging in sexual acts with children under the age of 12.

State Police said an investigation in August 2012 led to the arrest of 36-year-old Timothy Robinson and 41-year-old James Robinson.

After a three-day trial, jurors recommended a sentencing of life plus 220 years for James.

They suggested a life sentence plus 70 years for Timothy, who was already serving 20 years for a previous case involving incest and sex abuse of a minor.

Timothy Robinson was found guilty of sodomy of a victim under 12, incest of a victim under 12 and use of a minor in a sexual performance.

James Robinson was found guilty of seven counts of using a minor in a sexual performance, five counts of sexual abuse of a victim under 12 and two counts of sexual abuse.
