If words had cousins, creative’s would be imaginative, original and inventive. This week, on Kentucky’s Backroads, we travel to Morehead to meet a woman who used her creativity to shed light on a serious matter.
That creativity could also set a world record. It centers on a pinwheel, a ten foot wide pinwheel, and the message it sends about helping prevent child abuse.
We will take you from the costume shop where the pinwheel was created together to the lawn of the Rowan County Arts Center where the finished product was put together. And, now, with the help of the wind, it will spin to draw the attention of those traveling through downtown Morehead.
