The Vietnam War, a long and unpopular conflict, is now more than a half century deep into American history. This week Kentucky Backroads travels to Richmond where the traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall is through Monday.
The healing wall is open for public viewing 24 hours a day through next Monday, April 29, on the south lawn of the EKU Center for the Arts. An opening ceremony was held Thursday.
We take you there and listen to the stories of those who served in Vietnam and know those whose names are among the more than 58,000 on the wall.
