Many companies employ survey & research firms to measure interest in products & services. Those firms sometimes offer incentives to consumers who take part.  There are lots of websites saying you can make big money taking surveys online…but how true is it?

Look at one a consumer asked your Better Business Bureau about. It's called surveyrevenuesystem.com.  It says you can make all kinds of money just taking surveys online, and they can sign you up….for just $69.

An up front fee to make money is a red flag of work at home schemes.  On some sites that charge money, they just provide places for you to check to see if a survey is available…and you still may not qualify for a survey to earn any money.

Testimonials are on the site from folks who appeared happy with the program…but look at the fine print.  Just so you know, the company says you might not make any money at all doing this.

And where is this company located anyway? Under "contact us" there's only an email box. No phone number, no address. Why don't they want you to know?

Further deep digging in the website show a phone number for customer assistance. When we searched that number on the BBB Internet, it brought up a report for a business called "Paid Surveys & More." The Texas BBB has given an F rating to them due to unanswered & unresolved complaints.

There are sites that give small fees & incentives for taking surveys-but you won't get rich from it. If you're not in the kind of group a company is looking for, you'll be turned down for some surveys.  If you are promised big money for answering surveys online, but must pay, don't fall for it!
