Lexington's Ronald McDonald House has five van loads of new supplies thanks to two Girl Scout Troops.

They held a week-long donation drive at Rosa Parks Elementary School in Lexington.

The result was more than 1,000 items.

The supplies were dropped off on Monday.

The Girl Scouts also made baked goods, snacks and cards for the people now staying at the Ronald McDonald House.

The House is a home away from home for families with children in the hospital.

That's 'What's Cool in Schools' this week.
