Georgetown has a new Salvation Army Center.  A dedication and open house were Sunday at the new facility.  The Salvation Army says with the new center, it can provide more meals, offer summer education programs to elementary students and provide character-building programs for students.
The center is possible, in part, because of a $500,000 grant from the state.
