UK's Non-Conference Schedule Update

UK's Non-Conference Schedule Update

Where are they now?

Marist (7-12, 2-6 MAAC…9th in their conference)

Kansas (17-3, 7-0 Big 12…Tops in conference)

Penn State (10-12, 2-7 Big Ten…12th in conference…334th in fg % in country)

Old Dominion (13-9, 8-2 CAA…2nd in conference…21st in nation in rebounding… 5 OT games (3-2))

Radford (4-19, 1-10 Big South…11th in conference…304th in ppg, 338th in fg %... losses to Presbyterian and Campbellsville)

Portland (5-15, 2-5 WCC…7th in conference… loss to San Francisco by 34 and 1 (go figure))

St. John’s (9-11, 3-6 Big East… 12th in conference… won at Cincy)

UNC (17-3, 4-1 ACC… 3rd in conference… 1st in ppg and rebounds in country… 4th in assists…my pick for Final Four and National Championship game…33-point loss to Florida State is just college basketball…never truly know what will happen!)

Indiana (16-5, 4-5 Big Ten… 7th in conference… 5th in country in fg %, 189th in rebounding (out-rebounded in 3 of 5 losses…had one more rebound than Nebraska in loss…tied Wisconsin but lost…the Hoosiers downfall))

Chattanooga (9-13, 3-6 SoCon…5th in crap conference… 13th in country I rebounding but nothing else to get Mocs over hump…even vs. bad teams)

Samford (6-13, 2-5 SoCon…6th in conference…irrelevant in picture of college basketball)

Loyola (MD) (14-5, 7-2 in MAAC… 1st in conference…statistically mid-pack in country across the board… losses at Iona and to Niagra by double-digits, but as the crowd at Rupp remembers…a solid, gritty basketball team with a ton of talent from guys that were second best players on their HS and AAU teams that didn’t go to Maryland, Wake, Duke and UNC…could be a dangerous team come tournament time)

Lamar (12-8, 3-3 Southland… 3rd in conference… 4th in nation in rebounding…losses at Louisville, Ohio State, UK and an overtime game early to Ohio…I conference they’ve dropped 2 close road games and one at home to UTA…could be another tourney team in a few months)

Louisville (16-5, 4-4 Big East… 9th in conference… 26th in rebounds and 58th in apg… injury bug has different team on court every night, but Cards can play really well during times…maybe in same region come NCAA time?)

UALR (9-13, 6-2 Sun Belt… 1st in West part of conference… awful stats across the board… lost to WKU on the road by 12... that’s all I need to say…terrible team)
