LaDainian Tomlinson breaks the single-season rushing TD record versus the Denver Broncos.  LT scored his 29th of the year.

If you recall...Tomlinson was a monster in college at TCU...rushing his way into the record books as a Horned Frog...LT amassed 5,263 rushing yards (6th all-time in the NCAA).  In his senior season...LT totaled 2,158 yards and 22 scores on his way to the Doak Walker Award (nation's best running back).  In 1998, LT led TCU to it's first bowl win in 41 years as the Horned Frogs topped USC in the Sun Bowl.

In 1999, Tomlinson rushed for 406 yards in one game versus UTEP...an NCAA record for yards in one game.

Of course, LT was drafted by the Chargers with the 5th overall pick in 2001 NFL Draft.  As a por... he's been to 5 Pro Bowls and named a 6-time All-Pro.  In 2006 and 2007 he held the league's rushing title.  IN '06 he was the NFL MVP and AP Offensive Player of the Year.

Here's a little highlight reel of the man who ran all over Louisville in my younger grad school days!  Shout out to my guys from the Ville:  Zach Purol and Jonathan Schmitt for the cold game we braved versus the Frogs where LT lit up the scoreboard!

And an awesome Nike commercial you may remember...what up old roomie!  This is for you!
